A collector picks up a soft vinyl figure at a Tokyo pop-up, turns it over in their hands, and notices something unexpected: this version of Visty looks different. The colorway reads more urban. The finish feels more deliberate. Additionally, the box carries a second logo they recognise from Harajuku. That second logo is BoTT, and that moment of recognition is exactly what this article is about.

The BoTT x Verdy Visty vinyl figure is the clearest example of how a collaborator, not just the artist, reshapes what a character becomes in three-dimensional form. Most Visty pieces entering the collector market arrive as plush toys or apparel graphics. However, this edition translates Visty into rigid soft vinyl and filters it through a Tokyo boutique’s visual DNA, producing something genuinely distinct from every other Visty object in circulation.

Below, this guide pits three versions of the Visty verdy toy universe head to head: the BoTT vinyl figure, the Rise Above plush, and the wider collaboration ecosystem Verdy has built around this character. Each round includes a mini-verdict. The final section declares a winner for each type of collector.

Round One: Who Is BoTT and Why Does a Verdy Toy Land Here?

BoTT x Verdy Visty Vinyl Figure did not happen by accident. BoTT, the Japanese streetwear brand founded by TEITO, launched its first-ever collaboration with graphic artist VERDY, blending the BoTT OG logo with VERDY’s signature characters and ribbon motif. That initial apparel drop, hitting Shibuya and Osaka Parco locations, established creative chemistry between two Tokyo-rooted entities who share an audience: the collector who buys limited hoodies and also maintains a display shelf.
