Shinsuke Takizawa founded NEIGHBORHOOD in Harajuku in 1994. He built the label around motorcycle culture, workwear and punk. Heavy denim, military cuts and skull motifs became its signature. The brand helped define the Ura-Harajuku movement. Collectors still chase its early releases today.
