The Verdy x Rise Above Visty Plush in Pastel Multi stands as one of the most significant collectible releases in Verdy’s career. First, Verdy created this piece to celebrate his solo exhibition “Rise Above” at Kaikai Kiki Gallery in Tokyo in December 2021. Then, on the final day of the show, he released it exclusively through a lottery. With only 500 units available, the drop immediately became one of the most anticipated releases at the intersection of streetwear and art toy culture.

Visty is Verdy’s signature character. In short, he designed a monster-like figure that sits somewhere between cute and unsettling. The Pastel Multi colorway combines sage green, sky blue, soft pink, and pale yellow across the body. Specifically, the furry head, arms, and legs appear in sage green. In addition, pink and blue accents cover the ears and belly. The belly and feet feature a ribbed suede material. Furthermore, bright white eyes, metallic silver claws, and two large front teeth complete the figure. Finally, a bright blue Verdy banner on the back ties the piece directly to the artist.
The plush measures 63 x 30 x 20 cm and consists of polyester. Notably, Verdy chose not to number the edition of 500, keeping the focus on the object itself. After the Tokyo lottery debut, the piece dropped again at NTWRK’s Unboxed Festival in April 2022. As a result, it sold out immediately, confirming the demand that had built around Visty since the original release.
The Pastel Multi colorway is the original version of the Visty Plush. Furthermore, it captures the full palette Verdy developed for the Rise Above exhibition.
